Bear WindSong

My name is Bear (He/She/They) I am a hairstylist, owner of The Pretty Punx Haus and a service provider for the Beauty Without Bounds initiative. I began my journey in the beauty industry in 2013 at a corporate chain salon. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across Nevada, Oregon, and California, transitioning from high-end branded salons to private studios. I’ve trained under some of the most beloved and experienced stylists in my community and continuously seek further education to offer my guests the latest and most personalized services. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for queer BIPOC members of my community, allowing them to express themselves without fear of judgment. Additionally, I strive to provide a supportive space for fellow autistic individuals (I am diagnosed with Level 1 Autism) to enjoy self-care services comfortably. I specialize in color transformations and intensive color corrections, particularly focusing on vivid and fantasy colors. I have also explored braiding styles, including cornrows, box braids, and festival braids, and I am eager to gain more experience in these areas. When I’m not in the studio, you can find me at home with my senior dachshund, Sadie Mae. She loves to cuddle on the couch with me while I read or watch movies.
